A Quick Note on our "Silky" Friend
[info]welamom
silk_noir is fine.  I'm sure you all will hear from her in a few days.

I'm in the process of returning to my blog.  I have a few things on my mind right now, and my health is not being my friend, but I will return.

Let me leave you with this thought:  I do not believe it is a coincidence that there are four contenders for the Republican Party's nomination for their Presidential Candidate in the next National Election.  I'm just having a little trouble determining which one is Pestilence, which one is Famine, etc.

I'd say Romney is Famine. He'll eat cake (and caviar) while the peasants starve.

I'm thinking Santorum is War: his love of Crusade is my leading indicator.

Pestilence is Gingrich - a plague upon all houses, if ever there was one. Even his fellow Republicans wish he'd go away.

That would leave Death for Ron Paul... who, as the oldest, thinnest and boniest of the lot, probably wins the day for that one.

I'm not committed to those choices... what do you think?

I think they are idiot, idiot, idiot and slightless less idiot by comparison.

I love this! I was listening to an interview with someone on the Daily Show last night who just came out and said that "we have one political party that's just crazy" referring to the Republicans. The funny thing is, this guy worked for Ronald Reagan. Who, by today's definition would not be welcome in the Repubican party because he's too left wing!

But before anyone accuses me of bashing Republicans, lets just say that I would be happy to support any moderate candidate of whatever party that would just follow a middle line and promise to work toward compromise.
